Finding message in whatsapp group

I have a Whatsapp group with thousands of messages. Whenever i want to see some messages of specific date its difficult to do that. is there any easy method like searching by providing date?

WhatsApp has added search-by-date functionality to the web/PC version for now, and only for those who are using the beta app.

There is an option to search through messages inside conversations by date.
The search bar has a new calendar icon that, when pressed, will bring up a full-fledged date picker with the option to change the date, month, and year.

Android and iOS, along with the non-beta version of the app for PCs, will probably get the feature in the coming weeks.
