Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)
So is having three cameras necessarily better? No, since each of them is dedicated to one thing in particular. However, this setup will give you more options than any other mid-range mobile device.

Samsung's first triple camera smartphone announces the company's philosophy of innovating in the mid-range A-class. For an attractive price, you get a classy model with a glass back, 6 inch AMOLED display and of course the three-camera setup which allows a lot of control to take high quality photos, if not to flagship level. 4GB RAM and 64GB storage are on board, and the battery gives about a day and half of normal use. On the downsides, the out-of-the-box software is the outdated Android 8.0, and the biometric sensors (face or fingerprint) are not fast or reliable - best use a PIN.

Good

  • AMOLED screen
  • Ultra-wide angle camera lens
  • Impressive design
  • More than enough battery

Bad

  • No USB Type-C
  • No image stabilization
  • Android 8.0
  • Performance is somewhat slow
