can't download files with browser on Philips Android smart tv

Hi guys,

I bought a Philips Android tv. In security settings i turned on that other sources of files can be
installed. Then i went to the website where you can download Showbox for Android APK file. I can download it on my Android phone. Then it asks if i want to download and install the file.

But when i click on the download button on my tv screen, a loading circle appears which keeps spinning and spinning. I can browse webpages and watch trailers, so internet connection is allright. When i go to other websites to download other APK files, the same spinning circle appears. So it seems that whatever i try to download, this spinning corcle appears.

Anybody know how to solve this?

where can you check that permission? i enabled unknown sources allready in settings
