Disable vertical scrolling on home screen

I want to disable the vertical scrolling on your home screen and the other home screen pages that shows all your apps. I only want horizontal scrolling and I'll click on the button if I want to view all my apps. I keep accidentally opening up the view for all my apps and it's very irritating
