Does anyone know how to make the navigation bars on the note 8 disappear on android pie? There used to be a virtual button on the left side of the navigation bars before I updated and now it is always on screen.

welcome to AndroidPIT! 
Samsung changed their whole UI to Samsung One UI and a lot of things have changed. It is not possible to automatically hide the navigation bar as long as you are using the normal buttons. You can however switch to gesture navigation in the settings. There is no navigation bar at all anymore when you switch to gestures.

I was just hoping there was a way to hide the navigation bars. i don't really like the gesture because i am so used to the navigation bars.
