The contact icon in my Galaxy Tab A seems to be corrupted.
Tab A has the latest Android updates.
Accidentally, I have deleted the content of the contact folder/ Icon. Now when tapping Contacts:
“Updating Contacts” comes up, the little circle keeps spinning but nothing is happening.
I have used “Smart Switch” and imported my contacts from my Galaxy phone to the Galaxy Tab A.
Now, the contact list is located in “MyFiles” on the Tab A, but I have been unable to copy and paste them to the contact folder.
All contacts are still available with Yahoo and Gmail when composing a new email. Just the contact icon on the Home Screen is empty and keeps spinning.
I would like to uninstall the Contact Folder (if it's possible) and enter each contact manually if necessary, but am unable to so it since it seems to be part of the Android system.
If anybody has any suggestions, I would appreciate it very much.
