My dad has an older Motorola phone. Whatsapp is up to date and everything works fine.....BUT ..when the phone has been sat for a time (maybe 10 mins or so) and i try a VIDEO call to him he gets nothing come through...when I hang up he gets a notification of a missed call from me....if I make a video call to him a second time it will ring (while he still has app open) so the problem would seem to be his actual phone, i can video ring my mums phone and it comes up straight away , and hers sits on the side locked all day!
