Monkey Kick Off
Monkey Kick Off is a sweet little game in which you have to help a monkey kick a ball as far away as possible…

Features & Use
Miniclip came up with Monkey Kick Off, which means that some AndroidPIT members may already be familiar with it. The goal of the game is to get the monkey to kick the ball all the way to the monkey village. This isn’t as easy as it sounds and requires a bit of practicing.
I like this game because the design animation is great and it isn’t very taxing. It’s just what you need when you want to take a time out but don’t want to be bored.
Screen & Controls
After you touch the game’s icon the Miniclip logo appears as well as a Touch to start button. As soon as you tap on this button the game begins. A little monkey is standing in front of a kind of tropical rainforest settings, kicking a ball up and down. You can hear the gentle chirping of birds and you personal score is displayed in the upper right corner; you have to try and keep beating yourself. There’s a wooden sign that reads Tap Screen to Kick Off! behind the monkey; this makes game instructions redundant, as all you really have to do is touch the screen and the monkey will be able to kick the ball.
The challenge is to figure out when and how you tap the screen. As soon as the monkey kicks the ball the display will show the ball’s trajectory. If you kick it far enough, the ball will pass a yellow rainforest settings first, then a blue one, and finally a green one. Every 1000 meters there’s a new settings, and after 4000 meters the ball reaches the Monkey Village (you will find the same information on the sign at the beginning of the game).
If the ball has been kicked but you can tell that it won’t go far enough, you have the option of aborting by tapping on the Retry button which you will find just beneath the white field that shows the meters. As soon as the ball has fallen to the ground you will be able to see how many meters it flew, as well as have another go.
Monkey Kick Off's design is really cute and it’s lots of fun playing the game.
Speed & Stability
I didn’t experience any stability-related problems throughout the testing phase. I was also satisfied with Monkey Kick Off's speed and didn’t experience any lagging or long loading periods.
Price/Performance Ratio
Monkey Kick Off is available free of charge from the Android Market, but the link only works within the Android Browser.
