Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Release date

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra was released on September 8, 2022, and is already available to pre-order in several markets like in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, but no mention of the US yet. Motorola will ship the Edge 30 Ultra, Edge 30 Fusion, and Edge 30 Neo starting at the end of October.

The Edge 30 Ultra MSRP is $1049 (£999 UK) for 12/256 GB configuration. There is no official word yet if the Lenovo-owned company will release the Edge 30 Ultra in the US if unlocked or with carrier and for how much.

On the other hand, the Edge 30 Ultra is priced for €899.99 in Germany and other European countries with the same 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage configuration.

Motorola is the first company to bring a 200MP camera in the smartphone world. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (Moto X30 Pro) features a triple module at the back. Its primary sensor is an ISOCELL HP1 made by Samsung capable of 8K video. Paired with the main sensor is a 12MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide snappers. The front facing camera is a huge 60MP shooter that records up to 4K selfie video.

Users can utilize all effective megapixels when shooting with the massive camera or use lower resolutions through the pixel binning technology than combines 4 pixels into 1 that result to sharper 50MP or 12MP final images.

At the front of the device is a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 4610mAh battery along with plenty pf memory at 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage setup.
