Hello, everyone. This morning, I bought a Motorola Moto G Play phone from Best Buy. It's a pay as you go phone that works with Verizon.
I purchased the phone because I need NFC. (Near Field Compatibility.) The salesman emphatically said it does have that feature.
According to the Motorola web site, to enable NFC support, I should go into Settings, select More, and switch the NFC option on.
I will be darned if I see a NFC option there. In fact, I can't find NFC anywhere on the phone, anywhere in settings.
This phone has Android 6.0.1. The build number, if that will help, is:
MPIS 24.241.2.35-1-3.
Does this phone have NFC or not? If it does, then where do I enable it, if the instructions on Motorola's own web site don't work?
Is it possible this phone does not have NFC support, despite what the salesperson said?
Thank you. J. Danniel
