Photos and videos deleting after click "add account"

Yesterday when I tried to add account, Whatsapp got a weird bug then when I exited the application and entered it again all the photos videos and voice messages I sent and received via Whatsapp were deleted. These photos and videos were also deleted from the whatsapp images and whatsapp videos files in google photos. I was backing up whatsapp and google photos regularly but they were all deleted because of this ridiculous bug of Whatsapp. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

If you have a recent WhatsApp chat backup (stored on Google Drive or iCloud), you could reinstall WhatsApp and restore your chats and media.

WhatsApp backed up all my chats even after my photos and videos were deleted. How can I find my previous backups? Only the latest backup is visible in WhatsApp > Databases.
