One UI 7 is finally rolling out to Samsung Galaxy devices after a notable delay, with the beta program continuing to expand to more models. Initially limited to select devices and regions, the Android 15-based update is expected to reach a broader user base in the coming days. Now, Samsung has confirmed that several mid-range Galaxy A-models will begin receiving the update starting next month.

As promised, Samsung began releasing One UI 7 on April 7, 2025, starting in South Korea and parts of Europe. Broader availability—including to India again and other key regions—is expected to follow shortly. The USA rollout is reportedly scheduled for April 10.

The update is released for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, along with the latest foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series will be upgraded directly to One UI 7. Additional eligible devices include the Galaxy S22 and S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 4/3, Galaxy Z Flip 4/3, and Galaxy Tab S8 series, though these will receive the update at a later stage.

Alongside the release, Samsung has expanded the list of eligible devices to include several mid-range Galaxy A-models. The Galaxy A54, A53, A35, A34, and A16 are set to receive the update in May. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A33, A25, A24, A16, and A15 are expected to get the update in June, according to a notice posted in the Samsung Members app in South Korea. However, rollout timelines may vary by region.

Additionally, availability may depend on device variants and carrier restrictions, particularly for models purchased through mobile plans.

Quick recap: The beta phase for One UI 7 launched earlier this year, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. The official public rollout began on April 7. Some of Samsung's newer mid-range devices, such as the Galaxy A56, already come with One UI 7 pre-installed. To boot, the beta program has recently expanded to include more models, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Is Your Galaxy Getting Android 15?

While Samsung has not yet released a complete list of devices eligible for the Android 15 update, we can make an educated guess based on the company’s software update policy. In theory, One UI 7 should be available for all Galaxy smartphones and tablets that remain within their official software support window.

Aside from the confirmed models, we have compiled a list of other Galaxy devices expected to receive the update, focusing on those with software support extending into 2025 and beyond. This list remains speculative and will be updated as soon as Samsung confirms the official lineup.

Having written about technology since 2008 for a number of websites in Brazil, Spain, Denmark, and Germany, I specialize in the mobile ecosystem, including various models, components, and apps. I tend to not only value performance and specifications, but also things like repairability, durability, and manufacturer support. I tend to prioritize the end-user's point of view whenever possible.

Exciting to see Samsung smoothly rolling out Android 14 and sharing a clear plan for Android 15 updates. Their swift handling of flagship and mid-range phones is impressive, even if Google's Pixel leads in speed. The breakdown of models for Android 15 across the Galaxy series and tabs is super helpful. Looking forward to staying in the loop as the Android 15 release date approaches! On android you can enjoy this game.
