Samsung has long been suspected of having a cheap version of the flagship Galaxy Note 10 on the cards. Just a few days before CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Samsung announces the Note 10 Lite and thus eliminates all rumors. We have compiled all official information for you here.
The news from Samsung is not quite as surprising today. Nevertheless: we expected that the South Korean company would wait until January 7 and thus until the opening day of CES 2020. But so be it, here is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
Design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
When it comes to the design, the previously published leaks hit the bull's-eye. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite also comes with the Infinity-O display of the more expensive Note siblings. In the case of the Lite model, however, the display is flat and has no curved edges. Overall, the more rounded design and fresher colors look as if Samsung wants to appeal to a younger target audience with the Note 10 Lite.
On the back, there is a clear difference to the regular Galaxy Note 10. The camera section is not elongated and upright but arranged in an almost square module. This stands out clearly in black from the back and houses three individual cameras and an LED flash.
There is no surprise with the colors. The smartphone shown has three of them. In addition to Aura Glow and Aura Black, there will also be a version in strong red that Samsung is calling - surprise - Aura Red.
Specifications of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite
The first rumors about the Galaxy Note 10 Lite are confirmed in the technical specs. Samsung does not mention the name of the processor in the press release. However, the division of the eight cores and their clock rate reveals that the Note 10 Lite uses the in-house Exynos processor with the model number 9810. The SoC has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory available. The storage can be expanded via microSD by up to 1TB.
The cameras on the back have a combination of a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with an F1.7 aperture and OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with F2.2 and a telephoto camera also with 12 megapixels and F1 .7. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel unit with F2.2 on the front.
As the name suggests, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite will of course also have an S-Pen. Like the Galaxy Note 9, this is paired with the smartphone via Bluetooth.
When it comes to the battery, the Note 10 Lite isn't even slimmed down as the name suggests. Samsung packs a whopping 4,500 mAh into the 6.7-inch smartphone.
Price and availability of the Galaxy Note 10 Lite
Samsung currently only indicates a period of availability: sometime in the first quarter of 2020, the Note 10 Lite will be on the market. You pay attention to the price: at €599 in Europe, the Note 10 Lite has become really cheap. In any case, we are excited and can't wait to get our hands on the new Lite model.

If it really does have a flat display I am interested, I love the Notes. I been hanging on to my trust old Note 4 the last with removable battery and a flat screen, I hate curved displays.
You better buy the galaxy note 9, which right now it's like $500 usd.
Always better to buy last years model at half the price!!!
I have never seen last years model at half price. I don't think any one sells last years model at half price.
