WhatsApp: new update brings video editing and fixes location issues
A new update for WhatsApp is rolling out on Google Play. Included in the update is a fix to a pesky bug that was causing localization issues and also allows users to edit videos on the fly.
The update, which still hasn’t rolled out in this part of the Google PlayStore, is available as an APK download from WhatsApp and can be found here. One of the main reasons for the update is to fix a localization issue that has been causing some problems for various users since the last update.
One of the nicer things that we can see with this update is that it adds some simple video editing tools. It’s nothing crazy, such as Final Cut Pro, but it will allow you to splice and cut different videos to a certain length without having to open up a new app.
