Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy A13 (mistake) to replace my Iphone. When I try to load pix to my Windows PC via USB the only pix that show on the PC are those taken on the camera. Pix sent to me via Whats App do not show on PC. However, once I have WhatsApped them to someone else from the phone, then they do show on the USB link. I have enable every possible permission. Anyone have any ideas?

It is possible that the issue you are experiencing with transferring WhatsApp images from your Samsung Galaxy A13 to your Windows PC via USB is related to file transfer settings on your phone or the WhatsApp app. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check USB connection: Make sure the USB connection is properly established between your phone and computer. Try using a different USB cable or port to see if that helps.

Enable file transfer mode: Check if your phone is in file transfer mode when connected to the PC. On some Samsung devices, this mode may need to be manually enabled in the notification shade.

Verify WhatsApp image location: Check if the WhatsApp images are saved in the phone's internal storage or external SD card. If they are saved on the SD card, make sure that the SD card is mounted and accessible on your computer.

Clear cache for WhatsApp: Try clearing the cache and data for the WhatsApp app on your phone. This can be done from the app settings on your phone.

Update WhatsApp and phone software: Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp and your phone's software installed. This can help fix any known bugs or issues related to file transfers.

If none of these steps work, you can also try transferring the WhatsApp images to your PC using alternative methods, such as cloud storage or email.

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with transferring photos from your Samsung Galaxy A13 to your Windows PC via USB. If only the photos taken with the camera are showing up on your PC and the ones received through WhatsApp are not visible, there could be a few potential reasons for this:

File location: The photos received through WhatsApp are typically stored in a separate folder or location on your device. When connecting your phone to the PC via USB, make sure you're accessing the correct folder where the WhatsApp images are saved. Look for a folder named "WhatsApp" or "Media" within your phone's internal storage or SD card.

USB connection mode: Check the USB connection mode on your Samsung Galaxy A13. By default, it may be set to "Charging only" or "Power supply." To ensure successful file transfer, change the USB connection mode to "File transfer" or "MTP" (Media Transfer Protocol). You can usually find this option in the notification panel when the phone is connected via USB or in the device's settings under the "Connections" or "Storage" section.

WhatsApp settings: In some cases, WhatsApp may have its own settings for media storage and file transfer. Open WhatsApp on your Samsung device and go to the app's settings. Look for options related to media storage or file transfer and ensure they are enabled or configured correctly.

Driver or software issue: Ensure that you have the necessary drivers installed on your Windows PC to recognize and access your Samsung Galaxy A13. It's also recommended to keep your PC's operating system and drivers up to date.

If the issue persists after checking these points, you may consider alternative methods for transferring photos, such as using cloud storage services, email, or third-party file transfer applications like Samsung Smart Switch or AirDroid. These methods can provide alternative ways to transfer your WhatsApp photos to your PC.

Certainly:

It seems you're encountering a challenge with transferring WhatsApp images from your new Samsung Galaxy A13 to your Windows PC via USB. Notably, only images taken with the camera are visible, whereas those received through WhatsApp aren't accessible until they've been forwarded to someone else. Despite granting permissions, this limitation persists.

To address this, consider these steps:

USB Connection: Ensure you're selecting the appropriate USB connection mode, such as "File Transfer," when linking your phone to the PC.
Check Storage Location: Confirm that WhatsApp images are stored in a location accessible by your PC. Typically, they reside in the "WhatsApp" folder on your device's internal storage or SD card.
WhatsApp Media Visibility: Review the "Media Visibility" setting within WhatsApp. Occasionally, media files might remain hidden due to specific settings. Navigate to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Media visibility and ensure it's set to "Show."
USB Cable and Ports: To rule out hardware-related concerns, experiment with different USB cables and ports.
If the issue persists, contemplating alternative methods for transferring WhatsApp images, such as utilizing cloud storage or emailing them to yourself, might prove beneficial. These steps aim to help you systematically troubleshoot and resolve the situation.

It appears that you're currently facing an issue when attempting to transfer WhatsApp images from your newly acquired Samsung Galaxy A13 to your Windows PC via USB. Notably, only images captured with the phone's camera are visible during this process, while pictures received through WhatsApp do not appear until they've been forwarded to someone else. Despite granting the necessary permissions, this limitation continues to persist.

To address this situation, you might consider the following steps: Firstly, ensure that you're selecting the appropriate USB connection mode, such as "File Transfer," when establishing a connection between your Samsung device and the PC. Secondly, it's essential to confirm the storage location of your WhatsApp images. Typically, these images are stored in the "WhatsApp" folder located on the internal storage or SD card of your device. Furthermore, it's recommended to review the "Media Visibility" setting within WhatsApp itself. Access this by navigating to WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Media visibility and confirming that it's set to "Show."

In addition, to rule out potential hardware-related concerns, you can experiment with using different USB cables and ports for the transfer process. If despite these efforts, the issue persists, you might want to explore alternative methods for transferring your WhatsApp images. For instance, utilizing cloud storage services or emailing the images to yourself could potentially serve as viable workarounds. These steps are intended to help you systematically troubleshoot the situation and ultimately find a resolution.
