You can't remove them, but you can hide them: settings
Unchecked visibility for any you don't use.

Hello , you can go to the Google Play store from your computer's Web browser, click on the gear icon at the top-right-hand corner of the screen, and select the Settings option. You will be brought to a page titled "My Devices," which lists all the smartphones and tablets you have registered to your Google account

If a device you no longer use is listed (or if you don't recognize the device), you can remove it from your account. To remove devices from your account:
Use your phone's browser to go to myaccount.google.com.
In the "Sign-in & security" section, touch Device activity & notification.
In the "Recently used devices" section, touch Review devices.
Touch the device you want to remove > Remove.

"Thank you for sharing this helpful tip! It's true that Google Play tends to accumulate devices over time. To clean up your device list, you can access the Play Store on a web browser, click the 'cog' icon in the top right corner, and select 'Settings'. From there, you'll find the 'My Devices' list, where you can manage and hide older devices that might not be relevant anymore. Keep in mind that while old devices can't be completely removed, this method helps to tidy up your list. Appreciate the advice!"

Thanks for the tips! Keeping your Google Play device list tidy can be helpful for managing what devices have access to your Play Store purchases and subscriptions. A few additional thoughts on cleaning it up:

You can remove devices you no longer own by clicking the trash can icon next to them in the Play Store settings. This will revoke access, though it doesn't completely delete them from your account history.
For old devices you can't fully remove, giving them a clear name like "Old Phone 1" or specifying the year can help identify them.
Deleting unused devices can also help free up spots for new devices if you hit the maximum.
Check your Android settings for any devices showing as "trust agents" and remove ones you don't use anymore.
You may also want to periodically review app install histories on old devices to see if anything looks suspicious.
Keeping the list tidy takes some maintenance but it's a good privacy and security practice for Google accounts. Thanks again for posting this reminder!

To remove old devices from your Google Play device list:

Open Google Play Store.
Tap the three-line menu icon.
Go to "Settings."
Under "My devices," you'll see a list of devices. Tap on the one you want to remove.
Tap "Remove" or "Deregister."
Repeat these steps for each device you want to remove from the list.

You can clean up your Google Play Store device list by accessing your account settings, locating the "Manage devices" option, and removing any irrelevant or outdated devices from the list.
